Loop Gain Digital Redesign
Two methods can be used to re-design loop-gain digitally for the power supply converters: digital redesign method and direct digital design method. In the digital redesign method, the controller is designed in the continuous-time domain, and then discretized into the discrete-time form.
In the direct digital design method, the control object in the continuous-time domain is first transformed into the discrete-time domain, and the controller design is performed in this domain.
This paper describes loop-gain digital redesign and associated matters for power supply design in terms of continuous-time system discretization approximation.
